Valentine's Beer Dinner Pairing

We have our Valentine's Day dinner plans all set, how about you? 
Join us for a romantic, unique and very delicious evening with our five-course, five-beer dinner pairing! We've added a little something extra to this beer pairing dinner, too, as we will have live jazz on stage throughout the meal! 

Things will begin at 7 p.m. with a small meet and greet and complimentary beverage to get settled in, then the real fun begins at 7:30 p.m. 

For this beer dinner, our head chef Thomas Reeh and manager Habeab Kurdi put their brains (and stomachs) together yet again to cultivate the perfect marriage of tasty food and scrumptious beers, each pairing aimed to heighten both the food course and the beer course. 

We are extremely excited about this year's collaborative efforts, which include beers from Founders, Boulevard, Hops & Grain, Real Ale and Odell!!! 

Reservations are required as all of our previous beer dinners have sold out well before the event, and we expect this one to go quickly as well, so please make your reservations by visiting the bar or by calling us at Hi Hat at (512) 478-8700.

First Course
Cheese Course - Soft Aged Cheese, Honey, Apricot, Verde Sauce 
Paired: Boulevard Collaboration No. 4 Spiced Saison 

Second Course
Winter Roll - Rice Paper, Pecans, Chicory, Salsify, Rice Noodle, Citrus 
Paired: Hops & Grain Greenhouse IPA No. 13 

Third Course
Duck Leg Head Cheese - Rye Toast, Cherry Gastrique, Fennel Mustard
Paired: Odell Fernet-Aged Porter

Fourth Course
Chicken-Fried Venison - Potato Gravy, Biscuit, Melted Onion, Poached Farm Egg
Paired: Real Ale 2012 Vintage Sisyphus Barleywine

Fifth Course
Cardamom Creme Brûlée - Raspberries, Toasted Pistacio Biscotti
Paired: Founders Big Lushious Dark Chocolate Raspberry Stout
